I took off my acrylic nails and they hurt. The natural nail will feel more flexible for a few days for two reasons. Now my nails are thinner than they usually are and have ridges from the sanding of the nail bed prior to getting the dip done. I just took my acrylic nail off a week ago and now everytime I put any kind of nail polish strengthener etc.
The last straw was when I went to get a set removed the lady soaked them in acetone for MAYBE like a minute tops then she took a nail tip placed it under the edge of the acrylic and used it to RIP THE ACRYLIC OFF MY NAIL. Its normal for acrylic nails to hurt especially during the first day. This morning the customer has just rung my girlfriend at the salon to say they are hurting her not to severely though.
For colors like pink or white that price can increase to 50 or 60. One or twice a year they come off and I gorw out my own nails. I have the glass nail file and use a nail oil and Badger Balm at night.
